Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to the Project, come along to an event, or joined our amazing team of volunteers who are making it all happen ! We have raised just under £5000, and are almost at the three-quarters mark now!!! That's down to the incredible generosity of all of you. Thank you.
The Quiz Night a couple of weeks ago raised a huge £1001 - a fantastic night, great fun. The winners will be enjoying a day paint-balling, courtesy of Camouflage Paintball. Lots of local small businesses donated groceries which really kept our costs down and helped us make the most of the evening.
We have started rehearsing 'Jambhala', and making props and costumes (lightweight and travel hardy!). We will hold 3 performances in the UK before we leave - a chance for everyone to see the Play and meet the cast before we go. We will finish our rehearsals in India, once our Spitian actor has joined us.
We have been asked to include a performance at the (only) old folks home in Spiti as part of the Project - how delightful! We are so pleased to be performing to audiences right across the age spectrum, with our multi-generational cast!
