A short from our very last performance in Kaza, for children with disabilities, kids in childcare, nuns from various nunneries, a scattering of student monks, and a few other families who heard about it on the grapevine! Lovely final show, and useful chats with various local educators.
We gave away costumes and props to Spiti Childrens Room, an after school day childcare facility, where the emphasis is on learning through play and we're sure they will be put to good use.
The Yak Pack are making their way home now. As I write this, we are all safely down from the mountains and their treacherous roads. Here in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, there is internet once again (not to mention pizza), and I have finally managed to get this newsfeed up to date. Apologies to all who get an email every time I post an update - you'll have had about 10 today!
On the subject of updates, a huge thank you goes to Poll. If you have seen any Yak Pack updates over the past 4 weeks, thats down to Poll, decoding and unscrambling our piecemeal updates and photos from Spiti, sent along tenuous threads of connectivity, for her to make sense of and post. Poll - thank you - you did a great job!
