Since all our Spring and Summer fund-raising events have been cancelled, a few weeks ago we decided to host a Quiz Night to cheer ourselves up!
Well, it certainly did that!! We had such a silly evening of questions, and getting to grips with Facebook Live (its quite intense!!!), and lovely online interaction with all the quiz teams, scattered around the UK. Here are some of the highlights....or bloopers! Actually, its was basically bloopers, with a few questions thrown in....
The winners were the Motley Crew with 31/38, led by Charmaine in Brighton - well done!! The prize is this glorious Patty Pan Squash plant, which will be baby-sat by Darren and Poll here in Bournemouth until Charmaine is next in town.
(I hope I get this order right - do tell me if not!!)
Second place was taken by Pam next door, despite initial claims of getting 39/38, we eventually believed that her thumb slipped and she did really get 30/38!
Third place was shared by Paul, Tom and Jack Barker, Gareth Tina and Chris, and Penny, Arjuna and Helen, who all got 28/30.
Fourth place were the Fantastic Foxes with 27/38 - well done to Amalie and family.
There were lots more teams too, and WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART !!

A special thank you to those who donated to the Yak Pack Theatre Project during the evening too. It means a lot to us that we can continue fund-raising despite the current challenges, and you gave us hope as well as funds.
