WOW we've just made our fundraising target!!!

Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported us so generously over the past 4 years. Its been a bit of a roller coaster to be honest, especially the past 2 years as you can imagine - when we had no idea when we'd be able to get to India, and all our planned fundraising events crashed and burned.

At the weekend, we performed 'Little Red Riding Hood' so that people here in the UK could see the same show that the kids in Spiti will see. And after all, plastic pollution is a problem for Bournemouth just as much as for Spiti.

After the show finished on Sunday, we divided the props, costumes and scenery, plus more than 100 books, into 6 piles, one for each Yak Pack member. They get first call on space in our backpacks!

We're all meeting up in Delhi and traveling together to Manali which is in the foothills of the Himalayas, and we can start acclimatising to the altitude.

We'll do our best to post updates here, but with rather intermittent internet in Spiti, we'll also be sending updates to Poll who has kindly agreed to share them for us on the Yak Pack Facebook page, so this is the most reliable way to follow the Project in India.

Thank you again!
